New day, new Blog.

Well as a start I'd thought I'd go forth and do a new blog, my old one was not as useful as it could have been what with the 12000 spam comments. So we start again.  I'll be posting again. Hopefully more this time around. I have a bunch of projects on the go and lots of pictures to post.

So I thought I'd start with a little bit behind Silver Tabby Painting, with the new name, and well I'm just tickled pink with it. because who doesn't like a cute kitten sized silver tabby? I started my painting as a hobby to keep me sane, now I paint because I have time and I have friends who play warhammer 40k. So I have to have a nice army of troops ready to go. So on the go dear reader is 3 armies. I have a Imperial guard I am working on because I went insane one day and thought, sure that seems easy. 

Well this is the first Army I have in production in a long time. Its being a combination of what I have read about the imperial guard, units are adhoc rebuilt with the parts of others so we have 212th Nightingale Striker bringing a large part of the armour and scout cars. We have a large portion of the Catachan 2nd company under the command of Col.Stracken. While he forms the bulk of the for soldiers and heavy weapons emplacements; the 212th is an all female regiment with Major Victoria Slast commanding from a Macharius Vanquisher. Also Major Rhonda Ivana of the 314th Imperial navy air group commands the remains of a air cavalry wing consisting of 2 valkyries and (budget permitting) one vulture and one avenger. While this is the start of an 1850 point force, the goal is to take it to 3000 with the addition of a baneblade/hellhammer (depends on my skills with magnets) as well as the aforementioned aircraft. as i get in to more painting I will post biographies of more of the characters I have made for this; including Commissar Jones. Or Veteran squads Tango and Guelph, the last of the female footsloggers from the 212th Nightingale. This should be a fun project to finish I'll post more picture and comments. The magic will be to keep updating regularly. 

Before I forget, I  should tell you about my next 2 army projects. one is a 30k/40k world eaters army, done in pre heresy colours. Yes. I did buy Angron and I'm looking at the 30k version of Kharn. But as this army is all forgeworld, it may take a while. or I may just build everything as as a salamander force as I'm also liking how they look.  plus I picked up  and by the time I am done this post; Ashmantle will be complete. 

And my other major project is well a space wolf army for my darling wife. Who in making a list managed to stump me and a few friends on how she made units. So far I have a great wolf company and the great wolf to paint/build. they should be a quick army now that I know how I am going to mass paint them. I wish I had a picture to share on them, but alas, new phone didn't back them up on last go around. 

So this is a project to do, its all interchangeable. and looks pretty. another rapid striker. its job is to distract and then die.. I know full well its going to either last for the whole game or die before it gets the first shot off.
